Using what makes me, me, to create designs that make you, you.

Mel Andrel [they/them] is a Jersey Italian planting roots in Portland, Maine (they’ll hold the olives from their hoagies, thank you...)

They are known for their balance of detail and simplicity, intelligent use of negative space and color, and embracing all things wabi sabi.

In addition to bespoke design & illustrative work, they create vibrant products which can be purchased here, and at 60+ shops across the USA, UK, and Canada.

Mel spends their free time reading about cults, sunbathing with their dog, and sippin’ on fancy vermouths. They are a member of Mill Pond Ceramics Studio and believe that shells are the best pasta shape.
